Hello
I’m Bosco Lai
Co-Founder & CEO of
Little Place Labs
About Me
I’m an adventurer at heart, passionate about space, energy, and sustainability. Raised in Hong Kong and Canada, and now based in Houston, USA, my journey has shaped my appreciation for different cultures and global perspectives.
My curiosity and passion, along with my time at the University of Oxford, led me to co-found Little Place Labs, where we use AI to turn satellite data into faster, more reliable insights for the world.
Outside of work, my wife and I are parents to two space-loving girls and a rescued poodle. I’m a puzzle lover and avid singer who enjoys good company, nature, and gazing into the stars.
My Journey
How Little Place Labs
Came to Life
The University of Oxford and the Executive MBA experience are known for taking people to new places - new careers, new industries, and sometimes, even to space.
Early in the program, a few of us, driven by a shared passion for space technology and its potential to change the world, found ourselves deep in conversation between lectures, late-night study sessions, and countless pints of Guinness. Those conversations soon turned into action, and Little Place Labs was born.
Our mission: to make satellites smarter, using edge computing and AI to transform how space data is processed, delivering faster, more reliable insights for critical global applications.
